Talisman Garments for the passages that change everything.

You are here to be Adorned.

Threads of Infinity is a house of adornment for the great thresholds of a human life.

Every culture that has ever lived has dressed its initiating, its marrying, its grieving, its dead. Clothing has always been a linguistic system.   A language through which human beings communicate identity, belonging, grief, devotion, and becoming. A military uniform speaks. A wedding dress speaks. A mourning gown speaks. A burial shroud sspeaks. We have largely lost that literacy. Threads of Infinity is the work of remembering it.

THE ORIGIN STORY
"Astonishing. To wear it is an authorization. An embodied answered prayer."
— Lena
"Whenever I wear a piece created by Emily, I feel my inner nobility come forth. I become a magnet for connection."
— David
THREE PATHS INTO THE WORK.

Meet the Founder of Threads of Infinity
Emily Raymond

I did not set out to build a garment house. I set out to understand why clothing has always been present at the moments that matter most.  At birth and at death, at marriage and at mourning, at initiation and at collapse. The garment house arrived as the only honest answer to that question.

My work emerges from approximately twenty-five years of personal healing, inner work, and the kind of grief that reshapes a person from the inside out. I have lost people whose absence remade me. I have learned, slowly, in the body, not the mind, that descent is not the opposite of becoming. It is the prerequisite.

I have loved textiles since I was a little girl standing beside my mother in fabric shops watching women move through the bolts, searching for the treasure that would become something beautiful in their hands. That love carried me around the world, into markets and mountain workshops where indigenous cloth still does what cloth has always done: carry story, hold lineage, make the invisible visible. The spirit of women gathering to create runs through all of it. It is woven into every Story Cloak I make.

A Story Cloak is the most intimate garment you will ever wear, because it is made entirely from you.

This is the moment the process begins, not when fabric is chosen or needles are threaded, but when you say: I am ready. We will confirm your commission and prepare the space for what comes next.
